Coquelin lämnar för Valencia

Francis Coquelin lämnar efter 9 år London och Arsenal för spela i spanska Valencia. Coquelin gjorde under sina år i klubben 16o a-lagsmatcher och vann två FA-cuptitlar med klubben. Coquelin vann även en Youth FA-cup titel 2009.

Nedan följer en sista hälsning till Arsenals fans från Francis.

on his message to the fans… I just want to thank them because I was at the club for a very long time. I always showed passion for the club and they all saw that in me, so I want to thank them for their support. on how much it meant to have the fans’ backing… I understand what they feel - their love for the club, I understand that. I was at Arsenal for nine years and it was like a second family to me. I understand the frustration when the results are not going well. We had an honest relationship and the fans have always been amazing towards me. It’s been great.
